Japfest Goodwood
We’re excited to announce that Japfest will be back at Goodwood, landing at the legendary motor circuit on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, for an unforgettable celebration of Japanese performance and car culture.

Taking the unmistakable Japfest energy and dropping it into one of the most historic and idyllic motorsport venues in the UK. This year, we’re mixing things up with a bold new format and opening the gates to ALL Japanese cars, no age limits, just pure JDM joy. We are putting the spotlight firmly on live-action with jaw-dropping demos throughout the day. Expect full-throttle entertainment, including drifting, drag cars, jumping trucks, and loads more, all taking place in front of the Goodwood crowd. It’s all about spectacle, sound, smoke, and celebrating Japanese car culture.
At the heart of Japfest Goodwood are the clubs and communities that define the Japfest brand. The venue will be packed with incredible Japanese machines, showcasing everything from period-correct classics to modern-day builds. Think Japfest Silverstone energy, reimagined in the stunning surroundings of Goodwood, history, and some of the finest Jap cars in the country.
There’s plenty more to be announced very soon, but one thing’s certain: Japfest Goodwood is shaping up to be the must-attend end-of-season event for anyone serious about Japanese car culture.

Sixteen of the event’s finest builds will earn their place in the competition before going head-to-head in a knockout showdown. The opening Top 16 round sees cars paired against each other, with the audience voting for their favourite to progress. Winners advance to the quarter-finals, then the semi-finals, before the final two cars battle it out for the title. With every vote counting, expect stunning builds, passionate owners, surprise upsets and plenty of drama as the crowd crowns the ultimate Car Catwalk champion live at the show.

Hosted by Drift Matsuri, Drift Kings is set to deliver some of the most spectacular action of the day as the UK’s finest Japanese drift cars take over the Goodwood pit straight. Across three smoke-filled demonstration sessions, expect a hand-picked line-up of top drivers and incredible machines showcasing the skill, precision and commitment required to keep these high-powered drift cars sideways at speed. With the famous pit straight transformed into a dedicated live-action arena, spectators will have the perfect vantage point from the Goodwood balconies to witness every slide, transition and near-miss.
