JAPFEST SILVERSTONE IS GOING FULL SEND AS BAGGSY JOINS THE LINE-UP
There’s nothing about shredding tyres, building wild machinery or entertaining a motorsport crowd that Steve Biagioni, aka Baggsy doesn’t know.

Born in Upminster, Essex, Baggsy’s story started in karting alongside his dad before evolving into a career at the sharp end of global drifting. From grassroots competitions to international podiums, he’s built a reputation as both a formidable driver and a full-blown entertainer, lighting up some of the world’s biggest stages.
We’re talking appearances at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, MotoGP, FIA World Rallycross, Gymkhana GRiD, Goodwood Festival of Speed, NASCAR, and the Monza Rally Show. If there’s smoke involved, chances are Baggsy’s involved and with three Drift King sessions and the Half Time Hall of Famers demo, there’s going to be A LOT of smoke at Silverstone on the 19th of April.
A Career Stacked with Silverware
One of the early career highlights? Taking victory at the 2014 King of Europe Superfinal and bagging the €10,000 prize. Since then, he’s stood on podiums across the King of Europe Drift Pro Series, Drift Allstars, Irish Drift Championship, British Drift Championship and, more recently, Drift Masters GP. Not to mention many memorable displays at Japfest’s very own Drift Kings competition. He’s taught drifting to ex-Top Gear and Grand Tour presenter Richard Hammond, and Hollywood A-lister Idris Elba. He’s even lent F1 champ Lando Norris a couple of cars. Not bad for a lad from Essex.

Builder. Innovator. Game Changer
His car collection is impressive, with his garage giving home to the now-iconic V8 Nissan GT-R, the world’s first R35 GT-R-powered pickup, the Navara-R, his comp-spec Supercharged V8 PS13 and more recently his 1000bhp 2JZ GT86. All of them built and maintained by his own company, SB Motorsport.

Japfest 2026
For Japfest Silverstone? Baggsy is bringing his Toyota GT86 packing the legendary 2JZ under the bonnet. It’s a proper driver’s machine, sharp transitions, aggressive angle and enough torque to turn fresh rubber into smoke in seconds. Expect to see this car out in the Drift Kings and also the Half Time Hall of Famers. But it’s not all about the on track antics, Baggsy will be doing a stage interview and two meet and greet sessions. He’ll also have his pop-up shop at the show, so you can grab some authentic Baggsy merchandise.

April 19th. Silverstone. Smoke in the air. Limiter on the deck. Baggsy’s back at Japfest and he’s not coming quietly.
